Artist

The primary focus of Jemma’s work is following a visual story. A consistent theme in her work is the Southern region of the United States- covering ground from Southern Georgia, North Alabama, and Middle Tennessee. Her photographic background is grounded in the traditional art of photography: from tintype portraiture to the more modern methods of film and digital media existing today. In addition, time spent at the Savannah College of Art and Design opened up opportunities for collaborating with artists skilled in a wide array of other disciplines.
